SHARE YOUR CAR!
The Car Share Scheme is mainly intended to convince the university community to make the best use of their cars. It is our intention to reduce the number of vehicles commuting to the campus, avoiding the use of single-driver vehicles. By doing so, we would save petrol as well as unnecessary traffic jams. The idea is intended to convince and invite other university members living near you to share the car: "Let's share my car today, tomorrow will be your turn".
You will save petrol and meet new people, as well as contribute to a more sustainable mobility, by reducing both air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
More than 75% of urban commutes take place in single-driver vehicles Sharing your car can save an average of more than 1,000 litres of fuel and an annual gas emission of about 2.5 Tons of CO2.
In any case, remember the existence of public transport (bus lines, regional trains, bicycles ...). Using public transport means saving space 50 times and emitting CO2 70% less than using private vehicles.
