Resumen:   It refers, on one hand, to a discussion of the issue of references allusive to Biblical texts in Bram Stoker ìs Dracula (1897), as an intertextual feature. On the other hand, it seeks to investigate how the selected allusions were translated from English into Portuguese. The editions chosen to carry out this study are, respectively, Dracula by Bram Stoker (1847-1912), originally published in the English language in 1897, and its translation into the Portuguese language done by Theobaldo de Souza, launched in 2007, published via L&PM with the title Draìcula. Regarding the Bible, it was used the Pastoral Edition according to the Catholic Canon, published in 1990 by Paulus Publishing House. In the Bible, in an analytical way, we search for the excerpts that, eventually, characterize the allusion in the Stoker ìs work. For the delimitation of the excerpts to be investigated, it was chosen the theme of death as a reducer filter for the allusive occurrences. The theoretical and methodological basis for the interpretation and retextualization of allusions result, mainly, from the postulates of Hatim & Mason (1990), Koch & Elias (2009), Kristeva (1969, 1976, 1978), Ritva Leppihalme (1997) and Minna Ruokonen (2010).
