Publishing status: Extinct.
T'ikray is a Quechua word and it means "to dig, turn upside down, change, translate".
This journal seems to have published only one issue as T'ikray (1987). In 1993 the same college launched Lenguas Modernas, no longer exclusively specialized in translation, but including quite a few articles dealing with translation. Under this name it also published just one issue. In 1998 it was again reborn, now called Revista de la Facultad de Lenguas Modernas (1998-2005). Since 2006 it is called Revista de la Facultad de Humanidades y Lenguas Modernas, and in the period 2006-2013 it has continued to publish quite a few articles on translation, probably the only journal to do so on a regular basis in Peru in this period.
