Resumen:   My current research focuses on teaching poetic translation in exolingual university language classes. Translation implies working on poetic texts as vehicle for information. This information necessarily goes beyond the language framework and includes other human sciences. Based on theses hypotheses literary translation is considered as a creative operation which would meet the readability criteria of any type of literature. What we posit calls for two observations: learners accept a pragmatic norm, a specific know-how related to certain representation of norm associated with the identity of the working language. Existing analytical models tend to favour the varying usage condition of learner's language. With this in mind, theoretical founding principles at the basis of the practice of translation. The objective is to validate the process based on experiences which account for the learner's ability or inability to feel empowered to dominate their learning experience. [Source: Author]
