Resumen:   By indicating the multiplicity and diversity of aspects of translational activity as instrumental of knowledge and interdisciplinary exchanges between different peoples and cultures, using my own examples, and some examples by many translating professionals, amidst processes of reflection, recreation, adaptation, transposition of one linguistic record to another, always in the indefatigable pursuit of the excellence of the word and understanding, this thesis evokes the fact that no mater how insignificant it may be, a translation is always a contribution to the body of knowledge built by the sapiens-demens. As an example, this work unveils the cultural context and the path of the Bloomsbury Group, a circle of friends, born and raised in the Victorian era, who with his manner, talent, dauntlessness and innovative styles has created new ways of living, has transformed daily life, revolutionizing the literature and the arts of England in the early twentieth century, a knowledge until now, impossible to find in Brazilian translation. The thesis is based on the benchmarks of complex thinking oriented to overcome the border art-science, myth-reason, sensible-intelligible. It uses also the complex operators, - dialogic, recursiveness, hologram - to enter the Bloomsbury experience in the context of the universality of culture. [Source: Author]
