Resumen:   In discussing the proper mode of rendering a word out of one language into another we should first ascertain, from lexicographers and standard writers, the meaning of the word which is to be translated; and then, by means of the same process, the meaning of the word or words proposed as the representative of the idea, in the language in which we are translating.
