Resumen:   On September 19–20, 2014, the Translation and Interpreting Section of the Department of English and American Studies of Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic, hosted the third TIFO – Translation and Interpreting Forum Olomouc. The organizers' goal was to provide a platform for all parties with an interest in translating and interpreting, both academics and professionals, to meet and to discuss
and critically examine relevant issues and often opposed viewpoints. The participants included representatives of universities, EU institutions, publishing industry, transnational corporations and language service providers. The present volume is a collection of selected contributions presented at the conference, which was held under the title Interchange between Languages and Cultures: The Quest for Quality.
